In my opinion, one of the least funny and most overrated comedy shows around. It's such cheap obvious and basic humour with stupid preachy storylines. It has its moments but generally it's a very poor comedy with lame irritating characters.

Agreed, I really don't like this show. Its painfully unfunny, I don't get why people do think its funny the characters are very whiny and overall annoying. I like shows that have a bit of realism in them, and Scrubs fails to do that unless we're supposed assume that all doctors do is stand in hallways delivering 10 minute rants on how worthless other doctors are, whilst letting their patients die. Least with shows like House the hospital is actually a big part of the show and isn't just a prop which is what Scrubs uses it for.

Maybe you need your head fixed, Scrubs is certainly not underrated and in my opinion, not any of the superlatives you refered to it with.

I think the show is great. JD's thoughts are always hysterical or what follows them. I'm always laughing a lot when I watch it. I think it is a good show.

^ What exactly does that cliche have to do with anything? And if they 'all' say it, how come I didn't?

I made a simple joke (the 'Fixed' joke) and you got pretty frustrated about it from what your posts say.

I think making a mountain out of mole hill is quite an achievement. First of all to create a mountain you need a lot of supplies and to achieve that goal with just a mole hill, that is by far a superb acomplishment. Although this has nothing to do with the thread.

Also I think the characters are great and it's hilarious the relationships they have. Not to mention it is a comedy show. It really shouldn't be compared to House. It could not be your taste in comedy or humor that you relate to. That is why it is understandable to me why people won't like it.

Yeah, sorry for going off-topic, just messing around.

Anyway I think Scrubs is a great show, but not everyone has to think that.

All I did was just combat your comment that Scrubs is underrated. Don't get all sensitive about it and post 'INTERNET = SERIOUS BUSINESS' to try and turn it round on me. =)

I like Scrubs but I don't watch it anymore. I used to watch it during the semester I took off from college because it came on in the mornings before work. I found the characters to be funny (my favorite was probably The Janitor) and I enjoyed the plot. It's definitely not on the same level as House to me, but they are very different shows with very different goals. I personally don't feel that I need a whole lot of realism in shows/movies which is probably why I enjoy science fiction and horror movies the way I do. If I wanted realism I would watch documentaries/true stories. I can understand why people might not get or enjoy the humor in the show, but I enjoyed it a great deal.

I don't really watch Scrubs anymore, but from what I can remember, it was hilarious. I especially loved The Janitor scenes, but other characters didn't under-perform either.

Married With Children > Scrubs.

Only thing I liked about Scrubs was that Tara Reid looked hot while she was on it. I think those are the only episodes I watched.

I love scrubs and I have seasons 1-6 on DVD and MF is kinda right. No it isnt annoying, But it isnt a hilarious show. Yes it is funny, But it does not compare in humor value to the likes of The office or so ...

Although the show is great, Its isnt extremely hilarious.
