I really don't know any of those types of music. I guess I really can't be much help. All I can say is good luck.

You're gonna audition? I suggest Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra.

I'm with Bolton on this actually. I think Fly Me To The Moon would suit your voice well.

It's an option. I am thinking I'll do "The Anniversary Song" and maybe "Embraceable You". "Peace In The Valley" is good also. I just would like to have a song in mind that's a little bit different. "Come Fly With Me" could be that song. I'd prefer to sing songs that don't get done.

What about Theme from New York, New York/New York, New York? I haven't heard you sing this song, but I think that with your voice, you can sing it well.

Yeah, My cousin tried out two years back. Don't expect to see Dicko, Holden and Marcia though. When he tried out there were some nobodies. Then he got to the next round where he got to audition against those guys.

- I suggest confidence, And don't suck up like others do just because they are fairly big names in the music industry.

And best of luck mate.

Ok, I don't know much about Australian Idol or your voice but, I do have a suggestion. I think that you said take a song you like thats not the genre you sing and arrange the song to be that genre, that way you'd show your voice off, be original and stand out from the rest. Thats my suggestion.

I made it through the first audition, but not the second. They liked my sound, but think I need some training. I feel disappointment, but it's for the best that they didn't let me through.

Yeah, That does suck. Was the first round the usual judges or some unknown people. Also did they film it?

There are three stages, first you sing in front of a couple of people and they put you through to sing to the producers and then the producers put you through to the judges you see on TV. They first two were really nice and they couldn't believe I had this voice at only 19. The lady said if she had one million dollars, she would open a club, have me as the singer and get an orchestra. They couldn't have been nicer basically and they didn't want to put me through because they didn't think the next people would accept me because I only really do jazz standard. The producers were nice, but yeah, they just said my vocal standard wasn't quite ready. They said I'm only 19 and I can come back.

I'm not sure if I'll go back as it's not a Pop competition and I'm good at singing what I'm good at singing, not what I don't sing.

There are other places you can sing that like my kind of singing. Idol don't like my kind of singing. Thank you for the support though and I do appreciate it.
